The Vision was given to Helen Vermeulen in 2003 according to Isaiah 54, Love in Action became active early 2006, in personally giving funds, goods and transport to a feeding scheme based in Meyerton. As cries of more needs and volunteer efforts streamed in we had to formalize and enlarge our support efforts/capacity. Our actions were meant to go beyond mere isolated “feel good” deeds to something substantial, uplifting and sustaining. In May 2006 Love in Action was formally established and registered as a NPO.

Says Helen:” I AM A BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF AND FOUND MYSELF IN A PREDICAMENT.HAVING BEEN BLESSED WITH LOADS OF COMPASSION FOR THE SUFFERING, POOR PEOPLE OF OUR LAND BEING ABUSED BY ORGANISATIONS ONLY ENRICHING THEMSELVES. HAVING NO LEGITIMATE ORGANISATION TO FUND I STARTED LOVE IN ACTION TO MONITOR THESE ORGANISATIONS AND TO MAKE SURE THAT LEGITIMATE ORGANISATIONS ARE GETTING THE RESCOURCES AND FUNDS WE SOURCE. AS A BUSINESS OWNER I AM ALSO GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY AS PER LEGISLATION. LOVE IN ACTION PROVIDES THE PERFECT PLATFORM TO SCRUTINIZE THESE ORGANISATIONS MAKING SURE THEY DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISE”
